Take a photo of your garden
Stand where you would normally look out from. Get the back wall of the house, a door and the ground in the frame. For a side gate, photograph the side passage from the front of the house. Daylight, no filter.

Pick a structure
The AI copies the structure from our photo of it, so pick the one you want to see.

Choose the photo from step 1. It stays on your phone: nothing is uploaded to us.

Send it to Gemini or ChatGPT
Your phone's share menu opens. Pick Gemini or ChatGPT: both photos and the instruction go into a new message, then press send. The free plan is enough.
Claude and most other chat apps cannot create images, so they will not work for this.
We also copy the instruction when you tap. If it is not in the message box, press and hold there and choose Paste.
Other ways to do it
Save our photo to your phone, copy the instruction, then open the app yourself and attach your garden photo first, our photo second.

These two give the best results, and the free plan is enough. Start a new chat, attach your garden photo first, then our photo. Paste the instruction and send.
Claude and most other chat assistants cannot create images, so they will not work for this.
Scale looks off? Reply “make it about 20% smaller” and it will redo it.

What makes the difference.
Shoot in flat daylight
Overcast is better than bright sun. Hard shadows confuse the model and it will place the structure at the wrong angle.
Include a door or a window
It needs something of known height to scale against. A back door in the frame is the single biggest accuracy gain.
Stand back further than feels right
Include more garden than you think you need. You can always crop the result.
Treat it as a sketch, not a quote
It shows you proportion and colour. It does not know your ground levels, your drainage or your wind exposure. That is what the survey is for.
